GSI Outdoors understands that every adventure seeker shares a common trait — hunger. Exploring the backcountry where the world grows more wild and somehow more simple takes a special kind of ambition. Gear from GSI is meant to fuel this unique drive while also keeping these bold souls fed (or in this case, caffeinated).

After a year and a half of uncertainty and stress, GSI knew escaping to the outdoors was more important than ever. This presented an opportunity to innovate with new products such as the Commuter JavaPress. My team came in to launch their latest offering on Amazon with content designed to stand out among the competition, drive conversion, and share GSI's story.

I acted as the creative lead, copywriter, and SEO specialist for this project. After learning about the brand's goals and core desires, I drafted a creative brief and updated the team of designers supporting me. This was a player-coach opportunity in which I directly contributed to the copy needs of the project and shared strategic insights about competitors of note, Amazon best practices, etc. The deliverables included fully designed listing images, A+ content, and product copy.
